The winter lights in Canary Wharf was amazing. I thought the exhibitions would all be in the same place, but as it turned out, each piece was dotted around the square and we had to find them like a treasure hunt. My favourite pieces were the wave length and the light-art.
When I uploaded a video of the wave length piece so many people messaged to ask where it was. It was so beautiful and amazing to see. The lights move to the wavelength of the person standing at the front of the lights. Whereas with the light-art you had to hold a torch and face it to a camera, this allowed you to draw pics with the light on a screen, it was insane.
The lights are up till 27th January so go whilst it’s still there! It’s a completely free event and perfect for the entire family. Plus they have a lot of restaurant offers so it’s a win-win for all.
