Don’t we look like twins?!

This week and last week have been the most hectic and most stressful weeks, no doubt there are more to come. But to escape it all, my friend and I just decided to explore our little area and surprisingly we came across these amazing graffitis.

As you saw my previous posts, all the graffitis represent a similar theme- feminism, so it was really wonderful to see art spreading awareness and a positive message. Some of the graffiti really did touch me and it made me smile so it really helped to go out and clear my head. I’ve never written a “personal” post, so it’s a bit weird for me to write about myself.. I don’t really know where to begin or what to say.

All I want to say is, this week and last week was tough and I’ve learnt a lot. There were a lot of events that stressed me out beyond control, but I learnt to take a step back and just breathe. I learnt that sometimes, telling yourself it’s going to be okay is actually quite effective and is really good for the soul. I learnt that some people will lift you beyond measures and will make you fly whilst others will drag you down and turn your happiness sour. Those people who bring negativity in your life should be a lesson, take their negativity and toss it in the bin. I’ve always been a positive person, but sometimes some events in life will just get you down and it’s okay we all go through tough times. Like I said, I’ve learnt a lot this week and sometimes the best thing to do is accept reality and move on.

I’ve said this a lot but I’ll say it again, to overcome a stressful and not-so-happy period in your life, you just have to breathe, put your head up, tell yourself it’s going to be okay and fight on.

Hope you all have an amazing week 🙂
