Khan’s of Kensington, South Kensington | Review

Khan's of Kensington Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Located in central South Kensington, Khan’s of Kensington is an Indian restaurant serving delicious food.

After a show at the Royal Albert Hall, we headed over to Khan’s of Kensington for dinner. We ordered palak paneer, garlic naan, rice and chicken curry. The portions look small but it is plenty of food, especially since the food is so rich.

So how was the food?

The palak paneer was very rich and creamy but it needed an extra kick of flavour. The garlic naan was my favourite part of the dish, warm and fluffy with strong garlic flavour, it was delicious with the palak paneer. If you ask nicely, they give you some Indian chutney which definitely helps to spice up the dishes. However, they can add extra charges for sauces so beware.

Overall, the food was delicious but it wasn’t authentic Indian. It would’ve been better with stronger flavours and some spice. The staff can be quite pushy when it comes to leaving good reviews on TripAdvisor. Although I understand why they want the reviews, it can be annoying for the customer. Hopefully they don’t do this to others.

I highly recommend you try garlic naan with palak paneer, it’s a match made in heaven.

Till my next eat x
