All I need in this life of sin, is me and my girlfriend(s)!

Each day I am realising how blessed I am to have so many wonderful people around me. My girlfriends being some (actually most) of them; they are the most amazing people on Earth and I am so so so lucky to have them in my life. Okay now the cheesy part is over, let’s move on!

On Friday, I went out to dinner with my girlfriends to Burger & Lobster, Soho and when we got there, there was about 20-30 people queuing outside the restaurant! We told ourselves we’d wait 30 mins max for a table before leaving for another place but it seems the heavens wanted us to have lobster that day. As soon as we said it a waitress came out and said there was a table ready for a group of 3/4. Since everyone was a couple we got lucky and got a table after 2 mins of waiting in line! Obviously as we walked past all the couples gave us evils (hah! the joys of being single!)

Our food came within 10mins of ordering and all together (thankfully no awkward waiting around for someones food, or cursing someone in your mind for ordering something stupid and not being able to enjoy your warm delicious food). We had two lobster rolls and one grilled lobster. How was it you ask?

well..

..oh..my..god. The lobster roll was DEE-VINEEEEEEEEE LIKE THE BOMB DIGGITY! The warm buttery brioche with the creamy lobster meat (with a hint of lemon) was orgasmic in my mouth. And the butter sauce, oh my god the butter sauce. The lobster and the butter sauce was like nutella & bananas or Jay-Z and Beyonce, just PERFECT! Honestly I was so sad to finish my loster roll. It was the best £20 I’ve spent on food.

After eating, we had to digest all that good food so we just strolled around Covent Garden in all its Christmas glory. They had the usual Christmas tree and Ruldolph and this year they had a snow globe with miniature structures of London made out of lego! London is so beautiful during Christmas, wish they’d put this much effort into decoration during the summer time.

Friday was such a good day, I ate good food with amazing company and I couldn’t have asked for more!

xo
