South Asia Diary: Bangkok, Thailand
We visited the grand palace (500 baht entrance), which housed beautiful buildings and the Emerald Buddha. We didn’t get long in the palace so for me it wasn’t worth that much money, it was just okay. I also had to wear a shirt over my top so that’s why I look like a daddy bear in my pics. From there we went to the reclining Buddha which was beautiful, plus we had the most delicious pad thai just outside the reclining buddha temple.
We also went to the floating market which was insane. It was a little out of Bangkok but it’s definitely worth going to. You get your own boat and sail through a floating village which sell food and other things such as souvenirs. Sadly, I have no other pictures of the floating market.
The Sky Bar was something everyone on instagram and everyone who went to bangkok talked about so we had to go. It really did live up to the hype, it was absolutely beautiful. You could see the entire Bangkok skyline from the rooftop and they had really yummy cocktails. The only downside was it was raining really badly so we couldn’t actually go out to the rooftop so we enjoyed the view from the inside.
